<Poem>
<End Poem>
<Translation>
New Year, and I’m homesick and miserable,
Alone and lachrymose here on the edge of the world.
I am already old, but still placed under others;
Spring has returned, but I have yet to go home.
I share dawn and dusk with the apes on the mountain
ranges
And the wind-blown mist with the willows by the river.
I am become like the tutor of Changsha,
Now, and for who knows how many years to come.
